Education

Children:

Park Place is truly a place for kids! During the school year children in preschool through the sixth grade are encouraged to participate in our midweek, children’s ministry program, KICK (Kids In Christ’s Kingdom) each Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Our time together includes a fellowship meal, small group studies and music.

On Sunday mornings Children’s Moment and Sunday School activities are also provided.

Each summer, Park Place holds a Vacation Bible School, which is a thematic approach to learning and worship based activities that include stories, art, games and singing.

Also, throughout the year, the Christian Education Committee provides various family oriented and intergenerational activities such as skating parties, picnics and movie nights.

Youth:

Each week youth middle and senior high gather at 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings for a time of fellowship, learning, and worship. Youth are also encouraged to be a part of other ministries and service at Park Place (praise team, deacons, committees, children’s ministries, etc.)

Each year our students have the opportunity to travel and serve on a weeklong mission experience. Past destinations have been Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Southern Arkansas, St Louis Missouri, and Oklahoma. During spring break, students also have the opportunity to engage in local service projects within our own community.

Adult:

At Park Place, adults are encouraged to grow in their faith and in relationship to one another. Adult education opportunities are provided after the 9:00 a.m. worship service through biblical and topical studies. Each Wednesday morning, there is an Adult Bible Study led by Lew Pearce. Throughout the year additional small group studies are held.
